DOM Diversity Council at Residency Showcase                May 2008

On May 9 2008, the Graduate Medical Education office sponsored a Residency Showcase at Northwestern.  The event was primarily for third-year medical students from underrepresented minority groups with the objective of presenting various GME programs to a more diverse applicant pool, and also to make these potential residency applicants aware of McGaw sponsored fourth-year elective scholarships.

The National Network of Latin American Medical Students held their Midwest Regional conference on January 19th at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.  Representing the Department of Medicine were Diversity Council members Dr. David Montgomery and Dr. Mobola Campbell

Department of Medicine Residency Panel 2006

The Department of Medicine regularly holds activities with medical students in Chicago.  Pictured above is a residency panel on April 10, 2006 for medical students from various Chicago medical schools.  Residents and fellows from several specialties at Northwestern participated in a discussion and question session with approximately 30 students at this recent event.
