In addition, the Division of Hematology/Oncology and the Lurie Comprehensive Cancer sponsor lectures and symposia open to the professional community featuring speakers from leading cancer centers in the United States and abroad. Major symposia include: - The Malnati Clinical Sciences Symposium, a two-day conference held annually in October.
- The Northwestern University/Schweppe Basic Sciences Colloquium, a two- or three-day conference held annually in September.
