- Development of written examinations and written examination items
- Participation in evaluation exercises including the OSCE
- Gathering information on the reliability and validity of evaluation measures
Acting as an advisor or mentor for students, residents and fellows - List formal advisees and current status
- List of “informal advisees”
- Provision of excellent graduate and postgraduate student supervision as judged by the quality of the trainee’s work, the time required to complete training, and subsequent career paths of trainees. Consider asking advisees with whom you have developed a close relationship to write a letter indicating how you have impacted their career.
Educational administration activities - Service as a course coordinator/director
- Service on departmental and/or institutional committees related to educational activities (include whether these are elected or appointed positions)
- Graduate program administration (activities, committees, etc.)

Continuing Education (Specific to education) The goal of this section is to provide documentation that you are making an effort to continue to improve your skills as an educator. - List continuing education sessions you have attended related to improving your ability to teach, develop curricula, or evaluate trainees
- List of educational journals you regularly read and books on teaching/education you have recently read
- Select an example of a continuing educational activity and discuss what you have learned and how it has impacted on the way you teach, evaluate or develop curricula
Honors and Awards All awards should be listed along with a brief description, if not evident from the title, of the criteria used to select award recipients. - Internal honors and awards
