Dr. Robert Bonow, Chief of the Division of Cardiology, has been awarded the Gold Heart Award by the American Heart Association, the association's highest award.  He was selected in recognition of his distinguished service in advancing the objectives of the American Heart Association through continued and significant contributions over time.  Especially noted were his dedication and many accomplishments as a volunteer leader at the national level, including serving as AHA President and Chief Science spokesperson.
