The Department of Medicine takes great pride in its Medical Grand Rounds Lecture Series.  Each year, leaders in medicine are invited from institutions throughout the country to speak on diverse topics.  Medical Grand Rounds highlights recent breakthroughs in clinical medicine and basic science research.  Applications to current medical practice are emphasized.  The lecture draws an audience in the hundreds; well attended by faculty, fellows, residents, students and hospital administration.
