We encourage all PSTP applicants to schedule their visit to Northwestern during one of our four PSTP interview dates, which are a day-and-a-half long, rather than the typical one-day categorical residency interview. The extra half day allows you additional time to fully explore both the clinical and research facilities here at Northwestern, as well as spend more time with the faculty and fellows in your area(s) of interest. PSTP interview dates will be:

• November 15/16 (PSTP interviews Thursday afternoon, PSTP dinner Thursday evening, categorical residency inteview all day Friday)
• November 29/30 (PSTP interviews Thursday afternoon, PSTP dinner Thursday evening, categorical residency inteview all day Friday)
• December 10/11 (categorical residency interview all day Monday, PSTP dinner Monday evening, PSTP interview Tuesday morning)
• January 7/8 (categorical residency interview all day Monday, PSTP dinner Monday evening, PSTP interview Tuesday morning)

If you cannot make any of these dates, we will try to accommodate your visit on another of the categorical residency interview dates (please try to schedule an extra half day here, if possible), and we will make every effort to provide you with all the information you need to make a fully informed decision about our training opportunities.
