 | Morning report is held every weekday at NMH and the VA. Residents attend morning report every day. Other activities include a weekly case management conference, in which the diagnosis and management of current cases are discussed by faculty members, and housestaff members; a management and complications conference; a core curriculum conference; an autopsy conference; a boards review course; and medical grand rounds. | The Department of Medicine takes great pride in its Medical Grand Rounds Lecture Series. Each year, leaders in medicine are invited from institutions throughout the country to speak on diverse topics. Medical Grand Rounds highlights recent breakthroughs in clinical medicine and basic science research. Applications to current medical practice are emphasized.
